I wanted to remind people of the suffering that goes on in war, and so included a crucifix as one of the greatest symbols of suffering with receding tombstones.

Not all who go to war will come back alive, I have included portraits of soldiers who served in the regiment going towards the horizon they get smaller and become almost abstract.
