The first new stained glass artwork to be installed in Christ Church Cathedral in 130 years.

 

The window, a memorial to Law professor Dr Edward Burn (1922-2022), depicts St Francis of Assisi amid a rich and blooming garden.

 

Many of the flowers were taken directly from the gardens of Christ Church, where Dr Burn is buried. There are also a number of his favourite birds and bees, and even a small study of his dog Piccolo can be spotted if you look closely.
