15 Lines of Light




In this window we have laminated hand-blown antique glass, and used silk-screen printing to print areas where we want to achieve a similar feel to the free painting aesthetics of the original design.


The idea is not to create a direct copy, but to keep the creative process moving forward all the time, making the translation more exciting than the original design. To achieve this I have silk-screen printed the free flowing brush stokes on the original design then worked back over them using lead oxide paint.
